Hip surgery keeps Bucktooth out six weeks
In the Brett Bucktooth injury saga, it’s finally been confirmed that the Buffalo Bandits forward is actually on the shelf with damaged cartilage in his hip, which he had surgery on yesterday morning.
The hope now is that Bucktooth will be back in six weeks.
The confirmation of the injury so late in the Bandits’ off-season doesn’t give Buffalo much time to readjust too much, but Head Coach Darris Kilgour says, “As devastating as it is, I also believe that we can overcome it.”
“We have some really good players behind him that are going to get a chance to step up and make a name for themselves.”
