Rock GM calls out Swarm taunter

It doesn’t get much uglier than a coach punching an opposing player, but that’s apparently what happened Friday night in Toronto and at least one member of the Rock is laying the blame on Minnesota.

“All I want to say is that if the Minnesota player had left his dressing room with his team, there would have been no incident,” Rock general manager Mike Kloepfer told The National Post of Toronto.  ”There is no reason for a member of the Minnesota Swarm to be approaching a member of the Toronto Rock in that situation.”

Sean Pollock, the player Toronto coach Glenn Clark apparently punched in the face two times, wasn’t even a factor in Minnesota’s victory. He’d been ejected in the first quarter of Friday’s game.

As NLLInsider.com reported yesterday, the league is well-aware of what happened, is investigating and is expected to hand down a ruling later this week.
