Dance Team Pick’ems: Week 4

It’s Week 4 four our NLL dance team pick’ems, and our selection committee is ready to right the ship after a rough week. In the first full slate of games, dance team member favorites lost five of eight games. Blame the underachieving Toronto Rock, who lost two games to the Minnesota Swarm. New York’s victory over Portland also surprised voters. All those wins makes Allison from the Minnesota Swarm our current leader with a 7-2 record.

Heading into Week 4, we have a full lineup of dance team members ready to make their selections. And, for the first time, you can check out their picks in this easy to read chart. On to the picks:

Chicago Shamrox Pro Dance Team

The Wings looked tough against the Shamrox last weekend. Looking for them to take out Rochester in Philly. A lot of teams had rough weeks and have to step up their game. We may have an upset or two!! Record: 1W-8L

Colorado Mammoth Wild Bunch

Another weekend of lacrosse… YES CAN’T WAIT!!!! It’s looking to be a tight race. All four teams are looking good this season! Edmonton looked good against Colorado last weekend, but could not hold on, so lets see what New York brings to the table. Good luck to all the teams this weekend. Record: 4W-4L

New York Titans Dance Team
Looks like everyone underestimated my guys on the Titans last week and they pulled off a 14-11 win over the Jax. I definitely pick the Titans over the Bandits this Saturday. I’m looking forward to exciting weekend of lacrosse. Record: 0W-0L

Minnesota Storm Performance Team

The Swarm are still cooling off from a heated season opener weekend. Looks like I was the only one to pick the SWARM for back-to-back victories and look at that, with 2 wins the Swarm are undefeated! I know the two polished performances by the Minnesota Swarm Performance team had to help. Go Swarm! Record: 7W-2L

Philadelphia Wings Angels

Rochester is a great team but after the Philadelphia Wings amazing performance on Saturday, I have no doubt that Philly will easily come out with the win! Come out and see us perform Friday night at 8:00 at the Wachovia Center! Record: 1W-0L

Philadelphia Wings Angels

Philadelphia’s fans are crazy about this game, but the players truly live to play this game. After an incredible home opener, there is no doubt in my mind that the Wings won’t have another high-scoring game leading to a well-deserved victory. Record: 4W-5L

Edmonton Crush

I like Rochester because they want to get back on track after last weeks loss to Buffalo that snapped their 16 game winning streak. Buffalo because they are coming off a big win in Rochester, and the Bandits fans are back in full force at the HSBC Center. And of course Edmonton!! They are a faster, stronger team due to their off season acquisitions. Starting the season with a disappointing road loss against Colorado will make them hungry for a win, especially with a packed house for the home opener! Record: 1W-0L

Rochester Knightingales

Can’t wait for this week’s games. Everyone always underestimates my Rochester Knighthawks but just because they ended their winning streak does not mean that they are in any way falling apart. They are just getting started, we are sure to keep the cup!! I’m looking forward to an exciting week of lacrosse! Record: 0W-0L

Philadelphia Wings Angels

Fresh off their home opening victory last week Philadelphia will come out on top against Rochester, who are 1-1. NY is also on a high after winning their first game, and will prevail against Buffalo. I think off two loses Toronto will be ready to fight and prove themselves and pull through against Edmonton who are coming off their loss vs. Colorado. Record: 4W-5L

Dana
Calgary Drill Crew

Good luck to the teams this week. So far it seems the East is dominating the West teams, but the East is pretty matched up within their division. Tough decision, Friday night could go either way. Record: 3W-6L
