Top 20 NLL Player Ranking: Week 7
Lotta movement on the Top 20 this week.
Everyone outside of our leader, Gavin Prout, moved at least one spot. Even the guys that had the week off got shuffled around due to either some sub par performances or some off the hook games by guys like Jeff Zywicki and even rook Craig Point, that pushed ‘em past (or in some cases below) our week six leader board.
We’re also not factoring in guys reps as much now that most teams are a good four or five games in, so most of what you see below is based on what guys are throwing down in 08. Yeah, by the end of the year you know the usual suspects will be there like always, but right now at least, a lot of those guys just aren’t playing MVP caliber ball.
Have heard from a number of players, coaches and GM’s that are lovin’ the cyber ink we’re giving the D guys this year. Forget the scoring charts, guys like Ryan Cousins, John Gallant and Eric Martin are puttin’ asses in the seats just as much as the snipers this year.
Not sure there’s been one transitional stud that has come out week-in and week-out to be named the game’s best at this point, but guys like Steve Toll, Josh Sims and Jeff Shattler are definitely just outside of our top 20 at this point. Jordan Hall’s hovering around there too.
Anyways, here’s this week’s best coming outta a loaded week seven…
| RK | PLAYER | LAST | +/- | TOTAL | CONS. | HIGH |

| Give him an opening like the Rox did and he’ll rein pure hell on ya for 60 straight | ||||||

| The league’s best QB right now, maybe even better than Eli & Brady combined | ||||||

| Hasn’t had a bad game yetÉ coincidently the Mammoth are 5-0… and that’s really no coincidence | ||||||

| Came off the bench and still got things done in win over Portland | ||||||

| The leader on what looks to be 2008’s best defensive unit in Denver | ||||||

| Probably not on many people’s watch list to start, but dude is on an absolute tear | ||||||

| Just a brutal showing on O by Calgary that almost knocked Lewis right outta the 20 | ||||||

| Martin’s like a F22 Raptor, but at times it may appear no ones at the control tower | ||||||

| More patience and composure than some seven year vets, best rook so far easy | ||||||
