Mile-High Matchup

The Colorado Mammoth insist they’re not trying to pull a Patriots act by going 16-0. Besides, that whole undefeated thing didn’t turn out so well for the chowderheads, did it?
So nope, the 5-0 Mammoth aren’t trying to run the table. They say they’re focused only on what’s next and what’s next is a Philadelphia Wings team that’s off to a 3-0 start, making tonight’s matchup of unbeatens one of the biggest games of this young season.
“We’re not looking forward to a 16-0 record,” Mammoth captain Gavin Prout told The Denver Post. “We’re focusing on Philly, and Philly only. It takes a lot of discipline to do that. When you’re playing very well, you don’t look into the future. … Philly is 3-0, they are on a roll.”
Coming with the Wings is Geoff Snider, a former University of Denver player who also runs with the Denver Outlaws of the MLL. Snider and the Wings haven’t played since Jan. 26, so cracking Gee Nash and his NLL-leading 8.46 goals-against average could be a tall order.
The game is on TV, live and on tape-delay, depending on your setup.
