The status quo can be a very good thing when you’re the Philadelphia Wings getting another win with Athan Iannucci scoring another six goals. The Wings move to 6-0 on the season with the win over the New York Titans, while Athan Iannucci bumps his goal total up to 31.

The game started off slowly with just one Iannucci goal in the first quarter to make it 1-0. New York grabbed the lead twice in the second quarter, but the Wings snapped in the final three goals of the half to take a 6-4 advantage and would lead for the rest of the game.

Iannucci had two assists in addition to his six markers, Jake Bergey had two and five, and rookie Merrick Thomson had two and two. Rob Blasdell made 41 saves while Taylor Wray snagged 11 loose balls and Geoff Snider took on Rory Smith in a fight that Hollywood42 from the forums was kind enough to grab a video of.

For the Titans, Mike McLellan and Pat Maddalena had three goals apiece while Casey Powell and Brendan Mundorf each had two. Matt Vinc faced 60 shots, stopping 44 of them.

The Wings are in Buffalo tonight at 7:30 EST, where the Bandits will once again try to be perfect season spoilers. The Bandits handed the Minnesota Swarm their first loss on the season two weeks ago.
