Week 10

You have to love the parity in the league this year. Probably more than any year in the past 10 there is no clear cut favorite at the half waypoint. Colorado, Minnesota and finally Philly have now tasted defeat. We expected a 5-way battle for the playoffs in the East but New York is making sure it’s a 6 way fight. In the West Bob Hamley has awoken the dead and Portland and Calgary better watch their backs. Every game next week will have huge implications in the standings with San Jose at Colorado, Minnesota at Buffalo, Portland at Calgary and Toronto at Philadelphia.

1 (1)	Philadelphia Wings 6-1 A chink in the armor? You can bet that every team will analyze Philly’s first loss.
2 (2)	Minnesota Swarm 6-2 Tough game in Buffalo next week.
3 (4)	Buffalo Bandits 6-4 They could be number 1 in a few weeks. 5 of last 6 at home.
4 (3)	Colorado Mammoth 5-2 Got the weekend off but face San Jose next in their 6th home game.
5 (5)	Rochester Knighthawks 4-4 Knighthawks roll over Chicago but better be sharp for next game in Edmonton.
6 (6)	Toronto Rock 5-3 Goaltending and defense: A+. Offence: C-.
7 (7)	San Jose Stealth 4-3 Had this weekend off. Next week’s game at Colorado for 1st place.
8 (9)	New York Titans 5-4 Competing hard every game. Will be a factor in playoff race.
9 (8)	Calgary Roughnecks 3-6 Pat Campbell has been excellent but offence needs Kelusky back badly.
10 (10)	Portland Lumberjax 3-6 Lose to Rush in third meeting. Can still jump to 3rd place with victory in Calgary next weekend.
11 (12)	Edmonton Rush 1-6 Clawed their way to first victory. Still play Calgary 3 times. There is playoff hope.
12 (11)	Chicago Shamrox 1-6 Playoff hopes gone. Time to think about unloading a few vets for draft picks.
