Megan vs. Angela

So it’s on to our third matchup of this young season and while we kinda figured you guys take this stuff seriously (because it is, you know), it appears the participants are getting in on the act, too.

Last week’s matchup between Crystal and Leisel prompted Crystal to not only find herself being talked about in the NLL Forums, she even jumped into the conversation to defend herself. She also thanked the voters. Even cooler, she came up with the idea of a mud rasslin’ contest between the girls, which obviously does not suck.  Is it coincidence, then, that Crystal won? Maybe, maybe not. But the Titans dancer did manage to edge Leisel by the slimmest of margins, 116-112, and she advances to the next round.

So what’s up next? It’s Megan of San Jose and Angela of Denver.

You know the drill by now. Read a bit more about each girl, then cast your vote. The poll closes Friday at midnight whether you’re done with your fantasy or not.

Megan comes to us as a full-time student at San Jose State. How nice. Like just about every other dance team member in the NLL, Megan has been a dancer all her life and just loves to peform. Megan just happens to perform with the Spy Girls. She’s a country music fan and says you’ll most likely find a country song on her Ipod, which is kinda weird for someone so far north in Cali. Travel a few miles south toward the San Joaquin Valley and it’s make a TON more sense. How does NLLInsider know this? We have roots out West, baby.

Anyway, Megan seems nice enough. She’s got the American smile working on her NLL profile page despite some interesting invites on her message wall to “chat more.” She’s even getting some props from Arkansas! Sooooie! We all know lacrosse is blowing up around this great country of ours, but Arkansas? They’re paying attention to us in Arkansas? All we can say is: Welcome to the fold, now take the Clintons back and keep ‘em there, will ya?

Angela’s in Denver and is a third-year member of the Wild Bunch. The team may not have too much to dance about these days as it mucks its way through a three-game losing streak, but win or lose, how difficult can it be to get pumped up in front of crowds that regularly number around 18,000? Denver loves its lax, and we love Denver.

She’s a part-time student at Colorado-Boulder and she digs “Ocean’s Eleven,” which automatically scores points in the book of any guy, right? Like she’s gotta worry about scoring points with guys. Her NLL profile page offers us some different looks, not only with friends, but with different hair! We’ve never quite understood the desire to change hair color so drastically among women. Guys change their oil and their boxers (once in a while, anyway), but hair color? Seems like too much work. In any case, take a look at Angela as a blonde and as a … well, we’re not so sure what that other color is. For all we know, it’s dark. Take a look anyway, make up your mind and keep your thoughts to yourself.
