The Philadelphia Wings bounced back from being handed their first loss of the season last weekend to find a fourth quarter win over the San Jose Stealth by a score of 16-13. The Wings trailed 12-10 with six minutes left to play before going on a five goal tear to take a three goal lead they’d end the game with. Not content to do his part on just one end of the floor with his 41 saves, Philly goaltender Rob Blasdell scored the final goal of the game.

Athan Iannucci continued his high-scoring ways with four goals and two assists, Jake Bergey had two and three and rookie Jamie Rooney had two goals and two helpers, including the fourth-quarter marker that jump-started the Philly comeback. Jeff Zywicki led the stealth with four goals and two assists.

With the Stealth loss and their own win, the Colorado Mammoth have climbed back on top of the Western division, trampling the Calgary Roughnecks 11-6 along the way.

Gee Nash held the Roughnecks to just two goals in the second half, while the Mammoth scored six of their own. Gavin Prout had a season-high nine point night with three goals and six assists, while Dan Carey had three and one. Recently-returned Roughnecks captain Tracey Kelusky led his offensively-challenged team with two goals and one assist.
