NLL Insider Picks: Week 13
Fixler’s got high hopes for the week, saying: “For me, it either seems like one step forward or two steps back. This past week was one step forward, so this week I’m expecting two steps back. But seriously, I hope this is the week Lauren finally falters and I break my unfortunate pattern.”
Unlikely considering that every single one of their picks are the same.
Kojima, on the other hand, got into the spirit of March Madness and picked some legit upsets. Apparently he sees NY topping Philly — a bold claim.
This week’s sked:
COL (-4.5) @ POR
EDM @ TOR (-2.5)
CAL @ SJ (-1.5)
TOR @ BUF (-3.5)
PHI (-3.5) @ NY
CHI @ ROC (-5.5)

Colorado @ Portland
“The Mammoth got back on track last week and will have no problems handling the ‘Jax in their third meeting of the season.”—KEVIN FIXLER
“Tough pick. Colorado needs a win to keep their Division title hopes alive and Portland needs a win to create some breathing room on Edmonton. Both teams will be giving it their best. This one will come down to goaltending and so far, in that category, the Mammoth have the edge.”—CHRIS HALL
Edmonton @ Toronto
“I think this one’s going to come down to a battle of goalies and I’ll take Bob Watson every time.”—LAUREN WARD
“The Rush is better, but how much better on the road? I think we’ll find out that they’re not quite there yet, especially going up against a pissed off Rock team that’s fighting for its playoff life. “—BOB CHAVEZ
Calgary @ San Jose
“This is another solid western battle, buit the Stealth are the team to beat in the west. SJ wins with more staff in the arena than fans.”—TED JENNER
“Dietrich gets the OK to return but he hasn’t seen a shot in a long time and I don’t know if a few warmup tosses will make him game sharp. We could see some flip flop with him and Campbell as the game progresses.”—CHRIS HALL
Toronto @ Buffalo
“Well I didn’t mean I would take Watson every time, just in goalie battles. Buffalo has too many offensive weapons.”—LW
“Win or lose Friday night, the Rock will be tired and the Bandits won’t. Besides that, the Bandits are the better team.”—BC
Philadelphia @ New York
“Philly is arguably the best team in the league, and the Titans, while showing plenty of signs of improvement, are not. I like the Wings in a game closer than people will expect, but still by at least 3.”—FIX
“I like the way New York is playing right now, they’re getting big efforts from all over the line-up. But an off-game for Athan is what, six points? Gotta go with Philly.”—LW
Chicago @ Rochester
“Jr will take out his anger on Matt Roik and the Rox. no mercy!!!”—JENS
