NLL Girls: Caelee vs. Erin

Stand up and give yourselves a hand. All you voters should be proud of yourselves, including the computer geeks who cleared their cookies so they could cast more than one vote in NLL Girl of the Week Matchup 5 that put Anne up against Elizabeth.
How dare we toss out such an accusation? Well, when we see that 1,423 votes were cast, it makes us wonder. And after we crunch a few numbers, we see that the 1,423 votes were not only five times more than the previous best turnout, it’s more votes than the previous four weeks combined! You’re a bunch of sickos! Either way, the efforts of the dorks sent Philadelphia’s Elizabeth past Calgary’s Anne by a vote count of 766-657. Very well, done, dorks. Very well done.
It gives us all plenty of voting momentum as we head into Matchup 6 that puts Caelee of Edmonton up against Erin of Buffalo.

But before you read on and decide who gets your vote this week, we’re gonna do you a solid and provide you a quick way to refresh your memories. Just so you get an idea of who is left in this incredibly righteous tournament we’ve created, go back to Matchup No. 1 to see how Chicago’s Nikki beat Rochester’s Alanna; or Matchup No. 2 to see how Crystal edged Leisel; or Matchup No. 3 to recap Megan’s win over Angela; or Matchup No. 4 to see how Chantal topped Natalie.
Caelee comes to us from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, which is one of those places that’s just cool to pronounce, ya know?

It almost makes ya wish you were from there, just so you could tell people that. Almost, though. Then again, bumpin’ around Saskatoon with the chance of running into Caeleen might not be such a bad thing. You could shoot the breeze with her about he administrative assistant job with the Rush, who are playing much better ball these days. Or, if you’re Kevin Fixler, you could talk about the TV show you have in common: Hannah Montana. But just in case you’re a newbie to Saskatoon, you might not be able to recognize Caeleen right away, so it’s probably best that you check out her NLL page so you can, you know, get a look at some of her pictures.
You wouldn’t want to be rude and pass her by without at least saying hello, right? You gotta be able to recognize her. And we’re just doing our part in helping you achive the highest manner of decorum. And you all know what decorum is, right?
As for Erin, there was a time she might be one of the first people you see when getting off the plane in Buffalo.

The fifth-year Bandette used to work at the airport as a greeter, which made the pure gentleman in all of us wonder if she donned the Bandettes outfit to greet visitors to Buffalo. A fella can dream, right? Speaking of, Erin is working toward her dream of owning her own dance studio but she insists she’s really not that hard to please. Self-described as quiet and sentimental, she’s happiest when she’s at the beach and all she really wants outta life is happiness for friends and family. Ain’t that sweet?
And not that we’d have any sort of chance with this Buffalo beauty, but she sounds like an awesome date to us. How can she not be when she says steak is one of her favorite foods?
