The Money Ballers Special Report: Nooch & Daws Cashin’ In Large

Know The Money Ballers usually only rears its head on a Wednesday, late afternoon, after it’s had time to sleep off a rough Tuesday night (it is an Idol night after-all), but had to do a quick Money Baller plug after last night’s insane game in Portland.
Athan Iannucci and Dan Dawson tore it up last night, Nooch scoring a whack of money goals late and Daws doing the same all game.
Know Iannucci is gettin’ most of the praise after the win (and so he should), but Dawson hit it outta the park equally as far but was just missin’ that game winner AI had at the 12:27 mark of the final frame.
The off the chain showcase by Iannucci has cleared him 10.5 points over his nearest threat, Josh Sanderson, while Dawson went from 15th to fourth overall, again disproving the theory that you gotta be on a winning side to throw up nasty digits on The Money Ballers.
Both players scored 7.5 clutch points, the highest one game total of any player this year.
At this point, with Nooch’s crazy lead, it’ll be tough for anyone to catch him with three weekends of ball left, outside of maybe another couple 7.5 point nights by guys like Shooter, Ryan Ward, teammate Jake Bergey or even Daws again. I’d have to think AI’s showing last night all but sealed the deal in the Insider’s first Money Ballers edition.
Anyways, The Money Ballers as always will be back in full force this coming Wednesday, but just copied below the Top 10 so you can get an idea for who might have a chance at catching Athan. It’s gut check time in the post-season race right now, so ya never know, but after the two best money performances of the year last night, we’ll definitely need to see more of that to see someone other than Nooch crowned the clutch scoring champ in 08.
