It’s time to get Jax’d up!
May the best team win! Well, so the saying goes.
However, for some lax fans the debate is: if the Jax win, will that statement be justified? We’ve all been over this a few times already, but if a team is good enough to get to the final, then more power to ‘em!

Nobody said the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey team didn’t deserve to be there ’cause they were a bunch of college kids!
Start the cliche train! You don’t know who’s gonna win till the final whistle, it’s not over till the fat lady sings, and my personal favourite: Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbour? Hell no! … And it ain’t over now. ‘Cause when the goin’ gets tough the tough get goin’! Who’s with me? Let’s go!
Don’t count the Jax out. They are obviously in the final for a reason! Sure they beat the two tough teams in Calgary and West division regular-season champs San Jose, both on the road but, the fact of the matter is, they are playing some sick ball right now. Hell, they beat San Jose three out of four games this year!
Their record is no indication of how talented this ball team is. Yes, we all know they finished 6-10, but change those two overtime losses and they would be a .500 team! Sure, not 10-6 like the mighty East powers, but the way the East finished was just uncanny! I think a lot of people are counting the Jax out a little bit too quickly. It’s not like San Jose and Calgary forfeited their games to them. The Jax have earned every right to be in the final, as have the Bandits.
So throw the regular season out the window; this is what makes the National Lacrosse League playoffs so exciting. One and Done!
So bring on Banditland! Be as nice as a hostile crowd can be to the Plaid-Platoon! Let the players play and decide what promises to be one hell of a Champion’s Cup final!
I really think the Jax have the moxy to go into the HSBC and pull this one off! Dawson is unconscious right now! Dallas can single-handedly win a game for you on any given night and has the capability to defy human anatomy and literally stand on his head to make a save!
So, WHEN the Jax pull off the “shocker” of the year, you can say you heard it here first! This is why they play the game and the best team will have won!
