The Calgary Roughnecks just sent out a news release announcing that general manager Kurt Silcott has been fired.
The news release says team owner Brad Banister will serve as GM for the time being. “It has been great working with Kurt over the past three years, but we were both heading in different directions,” said Banister as quoted at NLL.com. “We all want to thank him for his time spent with the team and wish him well in the future.”
Rumours began circulating last week that Silcott was going to be let go but both he and Banister denied them when contacted.
