NLL Girl of the Week, semifinals: It’s Ashley vs. Elizabeth
Who says we’re out of game? Just because the lacrosse players themselves have crowned a champion doesn’t mean we’re finished with the National Lacrosse League season.

That’s because Crystal of the New York Titans is our first official finalist in our National Lacrosse League Girl of the Week contest. She dusted Megan fairly easily in voting this past week for a 311-234 score. And don’t worry, there’ll be no 311 tribute videos at the end of this announcement to honor the winning vote total. Last time I did that, Teddy Jenner didn’t understand it so we’ll keep it simple this time around. As it is, we’re on to the second semfinal, pitting Chicago’s Ashley up against Elizabeth of the Philadelphia Wings.

Ashley absolutely cruised in her second-round victory, but she’s got her work cut out for her this week if she wants to advance.

Still, that Playboy dream of hers is a card that’s difficult to ignore. We don’t want to be the shallow type and put too much emphasis on that aspect of her campaign, but … oh, who are we kidding? It’s not like anything we say would convince YOU otherwise, right? After all, it’s not like we know Ashley or any of these girls personally, so all we really have to go on is what they tell us in their NLL and team profiles, right? Of course, we’d welcome any input from the girls who wanna email us and campaign for themselves. Besides, we’re still trying to figure out what the “booty pop” is and if Ashley were to write and explain that to us, we’d sleep much better at night.
Yet even if we never do discover the definition of “booty pop,” Elizabeth is sure to give Ashley a serious run for a berth in the final. The dancer for the Wings doesn’t make any mention of such a dance move, but she still cruised by nearly a 2-1 margin in her second-round matchup. Impressive.

We’re still impressed by Elizabeth’s candid approach in stating on her Wings profile page the stuff she’s good at, but most of all, we dig the pet peeve of mean people. Is there anyone out there who likes mean people? Not even mean people like mean people. That’s what makes them mean, right? But, we digress. This isn’t a discussion on the perspective of life, this contest is all about … well, when you figure it out, let me know, will ya? Until then, we’ll just continue to gawk and talk about the hottest girls of the National Lacrosse League and when the voting for this contest ends on Sunday, we’ll haveĀ a winner to advance for the right to be the ultimate winner. And besides, we still haven’t figure out what’s on Elizabeth’s back on the pics from her NLL profile page. I’m guessing Wings, to, ya know, play on the whole team nickname thing. Any other suggestions?
So who’s gonna take on Crystal in the final? Ashley or Elizabeth? You’re the decider here. So get your vote on and get it on right now.
