The Money Ballers: JR A Edition

the-money-ballers-jr-a-edition

Outside of tossing up the usual 30 best Money Ballers in Junior A ball, this week we also hashed out the guys that are getting their stick on the one that matters most… the game winner.

Yeah, Jacob Kicknosway-Louks leads Ontario with four game winners, but what about BC, and what about the helpers on those GWG’s in any province (Alberta digits will be in the mix soon)?

Although game winners are weighed pretty heavily in The Money Ballers, it also takes the entire game from start-to-finish into consideration, so even though some guys have a knack for pitching in on game winners, they can get a bit buried on the leaderboard if that’s the only time they show up.

So checkout the table below, which not only ranks guys based on game winning points, but also shows how truly important they are to their club’s bottom line. That last column shows what percentage of their team’s wins they’ve factored in on with either a game winning goal or helper. St. Catharines’ Dan Williams is rocking the casbah hardcore there. And also interesting to see names like Jeremy Thompson, Ben Reaume, Mat McLeod and Joe Pikul on this first table, considering none of those guys have ever made the jump onto The Money Ballers mainboard ever. They’ve been pretty close, but never cracked the top 30.

And like I mentioned yesterday, Corey Small, Corey Small and Corey Small. The kids been so money lately that apparently he’s starting to sport Donald Trump’s mop… well, not really, but he has been so F’n clutch for the A’s in recent weeks he might as well do that cotton candy comb-over thing the T man does.

Small dethrones Peterborough’s Jesse Guerin, who’d been leading the charts for the past three weeks.
