The Money Ballers: JR A Edition

With only one game left on the slate in BC (Coquitlam vs. New West) and Ontario playing their last regular season tilt on Saturday night, the JR A Edition of The Money Ballers is almost in the books. Sad I know, but be strong… be strong.

With that said, there’s not really all that many guys that look like they’ll dump Six Nation’s Cody Jamieson for the crown. A couple but not many.

Jamieson sits at the top of this week’s rundown with a slim 2.5 point lead over Nanaimo’s Colton Clark. But unfortunately for Clark, and ever rook teammate Cody Bremner, the T-Men won’t play again until they face-off against New West in the first round of the playoffs.

The guys that look like they could potentially catch Jamieson, who himself still has three games left on the docket?

St. Catharines’ Corey Small still has two games left in the regular season and has been stock pilin’ clutch points in bulk during the second half of the A’s sked. He’s posted more than six points in a single game this year, so as long as Jamieson doesn’t explode for a loot of money points, Small should still be in the mix until the last day of the OLA season.

And with the way Jarrett Davis has been playin’ for Coquitlam in recent weeks, the dude could very well have another ridiculous game tomorrow night against the Bellies, a game that more than likely will produce a ton of lead changes. Or at least we hope it will.

Ditto for Kevin Brownell in Burlington. The Halton area sniper has been on a tear in recent weeks, including another game winner in the Chiefs’ tight win over Akwesasne on the weekend. No reason he can’t drop a bunch of Money Ballers points with three games left for the Chiefs, one of which should be a beauty against Orangeville.

Unlike we saw with Athan Iannucci dominating the NLL’s Money Ballers, this one should come down right to the wire.

Here’s this week’s top 30 clutch scorers…
