Final Blazer Tryout Spots Reserved for USIL Combine

We have gotten more than 150 requests for our Free Agent Tryout on November 1st and 2nd. We are limited to bringing in only 50 players.

Despite the overwhelming response, we have reserved the remaining 7-8 spots for players attending this Saturday’s USIL Combine in Aston, Pa. Here is the information on that event.

USIL TO HOST SECOND-ANNUAL FREE AGENT COMBINE ON OCT. 11

US Indoor Lacrosse will host the second-annual free agent combine on October 11, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. at Tri-State Sports in Aston, Pennsylvania. Players will have the opportunity to showcase their skills for NLL team representatives as the event will consist of agility testing, drills, scrimmaging and player interviews.

Coaches and scouts from a majority of NLL teams are expected to be in attendance. The Buffalo Bandits, Toronto Rock, New York Titans, Philadelphia Wings and Boston Blazers had representatives at the combine in 2007.

“We’re looking forward to growing this event, and giving more potential future NLL stars the opportunity to get into a team’s training camp,” said USIL President Graham D’Alvia. “Players from all across North America participated in the combine last year. With the NLL continuing to expand, we’re thrilled to do our part to grow the indoor lacrosse talent pool.”
