The newest LumberJax star
We’ve heard of homegrown talent, but the Portland LumberJax might be taking it to a new extreme.

Jax owner Angela Batinovich and her husband, Jax transition player Adam Bysouth recently welcomed their first daughter into the world, Avery. “She’s definitely a lot of fun, it’s pretty exciting,” says Angela of Avery, who’s 1 month old. Good thing for Angela, running the LumberJax turns out to be a lot like raising a daughter so the experience has served her well. “Getting a routine and schedule” is the key, she says. Adam’s getting plenty of experience as a father, too. Working in the real estate market proves for long hours in the day but the work isn’t over when he returns home at night. “He loves it even with the long hours at work and long hours at home.”
So, would you change anything? “It’s all good,” says Angela. “Except for the sleep. “I haven’t slept in weeks.”
