Mo Conn steps down as St. Kitts coach and GM

After a 2008 season that saw a regular season record of 15-5-2 and a bow-out in the semi-finals vs. the Six Nations Arrows, Mo Conn has stepped down as the head coach and GM of the St. Catharines Athletics of Ontario Jr. A, citing well-earned burnout. He’d held the head coach position for three years and the GM position for one. Conn will remain with the team as director and keep adding on to the 20 year total that he’s been involved with St. Catharines lacrosse. For those who are unaware, this is an organization that’s fielded some pretty epic teams. Head here for proof and maybe play a round of spot the Buffalo Bandits.
- And from the what else is new files: sorry, arena football, minor-league hockey and indoor lacrosse don’t count. Philly’s been racking up so many championships lately they’re allowed to be picky.
