CNBC checks up on the NLL, plus the links

There’s an interesting column onCNBC by Sportz Biz blogger Darren Rovell, who, while trying to gauge the financial health of the NLL for a story, stumbled across the news that NLL commissioner Jim Jennings was stepping down after his three year extension was up. Also, in other league financial news, the Boston Blazers have inked a deal with RCN Corp., a telecommunications firm who’s set to sponsor a host of lacrosse clinics in Massachusetts.
