One thing I don’t think is the problem is the sport itself. Lacrosse is a great game and I don’t think there’s a sports prejudice involved here, other than the one which seems to come through from the very people who are trying to sell you lacrosse.
They don’t promote their players because they don’t want to have to pay them more than a pittance and they insult the game by playing music with somebody shouting on the P.A. between whistles. I’ve never encountered a league which worked harder at chasing potential customers away.
