National Lacrosse League Girl of the Week: It’s Jennifer of the San Jose Stealth

“Your mom went to college.” Any fan of Napoleon Dynamite is gonna recognize that line, and just about any fan of the San Jose Stealth is gonna recognize Jennifer, the newest National Lacrosse League Girl of the Week. Jennifer’s not only a college graduate and a dancer for the Stealth, she’s a mother of three children. So props to her for juggling a career of dance and real estate with being a mum.

Jennifer is a native of southern Cali, and if you know anything about that state, there’s a bit of tongue-in-cheek rivarly between NoCal and SoCal. Of course, SoCal would be hurtin’ if it weren’t for NoCal sharing its water, but when it comes to lacrosse, it’s all good. We all wanna share, and Jennifer is eager about plenty in life. When she’s not tending to her flock, she’s a real estate agent in Frisco Bay area (word to the wise: never call it Frisco unless you’re a safe distance from it, like yours truly).

And when she’s not keeping her kids in line or showing a house or some sort of real estate, she’s getting her groove on. She’s danced for arena football teams and minor-league basketball teams so when the chance came for lacrosse, she wasn’t shy. “I love the intensity of the game and of course, the awesome fans!” she told NLL.com.

At the time, she’d taken some time away from dance to keep the focus on the kiddies. But she got the itch to return and couldn’t refuse. Who among us isn’t grateful for her return? As fun as the Stealth are to watch, seeing Jennifer and her fellow Bombshells trot out on to the floor during timeouts makes us think twice about making a run for a new beer.
