NLL Lacrosse Links: Boston Heating Up
The Boston Blazers are beginning to catch the sights of the media elite in the Hub, as evidinced by this fan-submitted piece making its way into the Tri-Town Transcript. After a pretty solid breakdown of the Blazers’ origins and season to date, our intrepid reporter (who happens to be a student at a local high school) concludes with this:
The conclusions of the games have been exciting as well, going into heart-pounding sudden death overtimes rather than tying games. The Blazers have also shown their excitement by scoring two goals within the last 10 seconds of a game against the Titans earlier in the year.
Boston is at a peak for their sports teams’ performance in the past few years. With the Bruins and Celtics in first place in their divisions, the Red Sox making it to the ALCS last year and the Patriots getting Tom Brady back, the Blazers are another team to add to the list.
While the Blazers are a new team, they are one of the best in the league, in one of the most exciting sports to watch. Get ready Boston, because the Blazers are just heating up.
