National Lacrosse League Girl of the Week: It’s Brookelyn of the Toronto Rock

We’ve all heard of Brooklyn here in the United States and even Brooklin up there in Ontario. But Brookelyn? Former home of the Dodgers and current home of the Redmen, how many more Brooklyns or Brooklins do we need? Well, now we’ve got Brookelyn, and and not only is she a dancer for the Toronto Rock dance team, she’s the newest National Lacrosse League Girl of the Week. She’s in her second year with the squad and kinda like every other Girl of the Week, she just loves to dance.
She’s 24 and has studied just about every discipline of dance out there, even the ones we’ve never even heard of. Doesn’t make a difference, though. It’d be sorta like asking a defender to shoot on goal, or a points man to D it up. Or maybe it’d be like asking Lewis Ratcliff to jump in goal, or putting Bob Watson on the power play. OK, maybe that’s a bit of a stretch. Point is, Brookelyn is very versatile and whatever you want her to dance, she’ll dance.

When she’s not dancing for the Rock squad, Brooke, as she’s known, is working as an administrative assistant for the city of Brampton. So yeah, dancing is a pretty sweet outlet for Brooke, especially after sitting at a desk all week behind a computer monitor. It’s not that she doesn’t like her job, but you know how it gets sitting at a desk for so long, right? Gotta have some sort of release. So when she’s not at work or dancing dances we’ve never even heard of, she might be at home spending time with her dog Easton that she talks about on her Toronto Rock profile page. It’s a Yorkie and Brooke claims it’s the best cuddler in the world! How sweet.
So there ya have it. Brooke and Easton, but this week the focus is on Brooke because she’s joined the elite level of National Lacrosse League girls with her honor of being a Girl of the Week. She’s now entered in our Girls of the Week contest and when her specific matchup is, we don’t know for sure. But you’d be wise to keep tuned to NLLInsider.com as that contest continues to unfold. As a matter of fact, this week’s matchup features Emily and Jennifer and it’s a pretty tight contest, so get your vote on for that matchup because it’s all over in a matter of days.
