National Lacrosse League Girl of the Week: Matchup 5 is Krystle vs. Brookelyn

Congrats all around for Kelly, the latest National Lacrosse League Girl of the Week to advance in our little weekly contest. The dancer for the Edmonton Rush moved past Vanessa of the Portland LumberJax by a vote count of 251-112. Not a very impressive vote total between the two, so get your act together, voters! It’s time for Matchup No. 5 of this here contest and if Krystle or Brookelyn don’t make you rock the vote, they’ll surely go down in any contest held for unique spellings. I’d like to buy a vowel, Mr. Sajak. That said, turn the page to learn, and see, more of our contestants.

Brookelyn is, well, Brookelyn. We still have to stop and look at the keyboard when we type her name. We’re used to Brooklyn, or Brooklin. And we’re sure she’s NEVER heard anything about the spelling of her name. Make all the fun you want, though. She’s got scoreboard when it comes to notoriety and it’s her you see in the spotlight while you’re resting on your duff in the seat double-fisting whatever sort of swill your barn is selling. No matter, the more swill you down, the more enthusiastic you are when she and her mates take the floor at ACC. And the way the Rock is playing these days, there’s plenty to cheer about in Toronto again these days as the club makes a spirited run at the playoffs. The bonus with Brooke, as she’s known to friends, is her versatility. As we mentioned in our initial writeup of her, she’s danced a ton of dances, dances with names we’ve never even heard of. So as unsteady as the Rock as been this season, she’s got a dance to cover just about every single mood Rock fans have had to endure this season. Good thing for her, and Toronto, that the Rock have picked up some steam lately. We’re not dancers ourselves here, at least not when people are watching, but we’re guessing the winning dances are MUCH more fun for dancers and viewers alike.

As for Krystle, well, she’s Krystle. And let’s be crystal clear in something: yeah, we have to stop and stare at the keyboard when we type her name, too. It’s nothing against the girls. It’s just that you don’t see names like this every day and as it is, we’re probably spending too much time noticing the names when there’s plenty else to notice. Yeah? Thought so. Krystle’s involvement here makes it an all Canuck-matchup as she dances for the Roughies outta Calgary. She’s a second-year member of the Drill Crew out West and if you think fans in Toronto have plenty to cheer, the Roughnecks fans are livin’ large with the success their team is enjoying. All we wanna know is if Krystle’s been able to set up any sort of meeting with the exec who came up with the idea for the Spence diamonds commercials. We here out East aren’t familiar with the ads, but if Krystle wants to slap the guy, heck, that’s something we wanna witness whether we know the dude or not.
So who’s it gonna be, fans? Krystle or Brookelyn? Brookelyn or Krystle? Vote today, and vote your conscience.
