National Lacrosse League Player of the Week: It’s Buffalo’s John Tavares

Score 6 goals and help on 3 others in helping your Buffalo Bandits not only win a game, but clinch a National Lacrosse League playoff berth, and it’ll no doubt turn some heads. That’s exactly what it did for John Tavares, who is this week’s NLL Player of the Week. As impressive as that is, big props go to the San Jose roster, which has three three winners joining JT for the weekly awards. Colin Doyle (Offense), Rhys Duch (Rookie) and goalie Tyler Richards (Defense) cleaned up for the Stealth. Portland’s Brodie Merrill is your Transition Player of the Week.
