Comcast Arena in Everett, Washington. Will this be the Lumberjax's new barn?

Although there has been little buzz behind the scenes since the Portland Lumberjax announced, three weeks back, that the team would no longer be operating in city of Portland, NLL Insider has learned that all hope should definitely not be lost for the franchise heading into the 2010 season.

NLL Insider has learned that the Lumberjax best and most plausible option right now is a move to Everett, Washington, where they would play out of Comcast Arena.

Comcast, which could hold a max of almost eight-and-a-half thousand spectators for a pro indoor lacrosse game, currently is also home to the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League, one-third of North America’s premier major-junior hockey league, the CHL.

The Silvertips, who have experienced impressive success on the ice since their expansion season in 2003/04, have been one of the CHL’s better attended clubs as well, normally drawing in the ballpark of six thousand fans per home date.
