Max Seibald, not finalist Zack Greer, wins Tewaaraton Trophy (Lacrosse’s Heisman)
Zack Greer was a finalist for the second time for the Tewaaraton Trophy but the Bryant fifth-year senior attackman lost out Thursday night to Cornell middie Max Seibald for lacrosse’s Heisman. Greer holds the DI career points (353) and goals (248) records, including a 68-point season for Bryant this spring. He was drafted third by the Long Island Lizards in Tuesday’s MLL Draft.
Greer will likely be staying in Rhode Island for the time being, commuting to play for the Lizards and former Duke linemate Matt Danowski. Up next will be where he goes in the NLL Draft.
