Hometown Wall of Fame for NLL’s Zywicki, plus the links

It’s kinda quiet these days for the National Lacrosse League, but we’d be remiss not to point out some hometown accolades for one of the NLL’s best, Jeff Zywicki. The fella out of Nepean, which technically is Ottawa, made his way into the Nepean Sports Wall of Fame earlier this week. We all know of his exploits with the San Jose Stealth, but Z was a huge part of Team Canada’s field championship in 2006 after his All-America career at UMass. With the Nepean Knights from 1997-2001, he piled up 191 goals and 156 assists in just 70 games.
