Lacrosse Links: Denver hires Bill Tierney
Denver has been a landing pad for several top Canadian laxers over the last few years, with names like Jamie Lincoln, Alex Gajic, Mark Matthews and Cliff Smith running minutes for the Pioneers. It’ll be interesting to see if that profile continues at Denver, now that they’ve hired legendary Princeton head coach Bill Tierney to take over the lacrosse program. Tierney spoke exclusively with Inside Lacrosse following the announcement, providing more insight into why he left the Tigers to take over in Colorado.
