Looking Ahead to the MLL All-Star Lacrosse Game

The final rosters are out for the MLL All-Star Game, to be played on Thursday night at Invesco Field in Denver. Seven Toronto players made the game — but an unusual format means that some of them will be matched against each other.

The format is “Old School” against “Young Guns.” Toronto’s Joe Walters and Brodie Merrill are on the Old School team. Joe Cinosky, Brett Queener, Merrick Thomson, Jordan Levine and Jordan Hall are on the Young Guns team.

Also, the Young Guns are coached by Toronto coach Dave Huntley.

Meantime, Drexel sophomore Kyle Bergman (18 goals, 11 assists last year), a native of Toronto, will have a new college coach. Brian Voelker is moving from Penn to Drexel, InsideLacrosse.com reported on Sunday night. An announcement is expected on Monday afternoon.
