The day after former Calgary coach Troy Cordingley’s being announced as the new skipper in Toronto, the Star’s headline reads “Fresh Rock front office ready to go.” But it’s the subhead that really carries the weight of the expectations: “New owner, new GM hire ex-Calgary coach Cordingley to lead T.O. back to top of standings.”
