NLL Entry Draft: Sid Smith to go first overall, Poll: Who goes second?

Syracuse grad and Six Nations Arrows product, Sid Smith, looks set to be taken first overall in next week's draft.
Although the Rochester Knighthawks’ brass has made it pretty known that Six Nations Chiefs and former Syracuse University defender Sid Smith was a guy they’d likely be spending one of their first two picks on in next week’s draft, there was still a bit of mystery whether he’d go first or second, potentially someone like Zack Greer, Iljia Gajic or Garrett Billings being the first name called out on the day.
The mystery of this year’s number one appears to be over however. Filed somewhere between “likely” and “let the cat outta the bag”, the Knighthawks issued a press release earlier today, very much insinuating that Smith would be joining the list of past first overall grabs, which includes recent first overall picks Daryl Veltman, Jordan Hall, Ryan Benesch and Brodie Merrill.
The release, which includes details on the team’s draft party at the Stock Exchange in Rochester, also mentions that the team will have a “special Sid Smith No. 1 Draft Pick poster” on hand, available to fans when they make a donation to the Knighthawks/Amerks Charitable Foundation during the event.
If, and more likely when, Smith is called out as ’09’s first overall pick, he’ll also join a small group of former Rochester first overall picks that include John Grant (’99 Delaware), Casey Powell (’98 Syracuse) and Cam Bomberry (’94 Nazareth).
The anticipated pick would also mark the fourth time a player of Iroquois decent was selected first overall, Smith joining the likes of Delby Powless (’04 Rutgers), Bomberry and current Buffalo Bandits’ head coach and GM, Darris Kilgour (’91 Nazareth).
If you were Rochester GM Regy Thorpe, who would you pick with the second overall selection?
