Six Nations captures 2009 Ross Cup
Led by National Lacrosse League (NLL) players Roger Vyse (NLL Buffalo), Craig Point (NLL Rochester) and Jason Henhawk (NLL Rochester), Six Nations went undefeated in the Canadian field lacrosse national championships, defeating B.C. representative Ladner in the final, 11-6, to win the 2009 Ross Cup.
Members of that Six Nations team are eligible for the Iroquois Nationals team being compiled for the 2010 World Field Lacrosse Championships.
The Iroquois Nationals recently held their open tryouts, and will be inviting 48 players back to a main camp this Fall.
Team Canada just completed their main tryout camp this past weekend, in Ontario at the same time as the Ross Cup.
