Lacrosse Links: East Tops West To Sweep All Star Series Down Under
The East dominated in game one and while game two was a bit of a different story, the result was the same – a win for the East and a sweep of the All Star Series in Australia. The East All-Stars came away with a 20-19 victory in front of more than 7,000 fans at Hisense Arena.
After losing 24-16 the night before, the West turned up the firepower on offense, scoring six goals in the second quarter to take an 11-6 lead. John Grant, Jr. put the game away for the East, putting up three in the final frame and earning MVP honors in the process.
