Minnesota Swarm’s Crawford is National Lacrosse League Player of the Week

Callum Crawford of the Minnesota Swarm is the National Lacrosse League’s Overall Player of the Week after scoring 4 goals with 5 assists in Minnesota’s 15-5 win over the Colorado Mammoth. Crawford had a hand in 9 of the team’s 15 goals. Ryan Powell of the Edmonton Rush had 4 goals and 4 assists to be named Offensive Player of the Week, while Rochester Knighthawks goalie Pat O’Toole was named Defensive Player of the Week after making 34 saves on 40 shots in a win over Philadephia. Teammate Steve Toll scored 2 goals and scooped 18 loose balls to earn Transition Player of the Week and Garrett Billings of the Toronto Rock earned his third Rookie of the Week honor with 3 goals and 4 assists in a loss to Edmonton.
