Colorado Mammoth celebrate one-millionth fan, “We love Jay Jalbert”
This past Saturday night saw the Colorado Mammoth seat their one-millionth fan during a regular season game in the franchise’s now eighth season in Denver. “It’s a testament to the organization, the sport of lacrosse and the city of Denver,” said Mammoth assistant general manager Bill Hall. “We have very passionate fans that stick with us through thick and thin, and it’s an honor to have the one-millionth fan come so quickly.” The Mammoth also report that their franchise is the second fastest pro team in the city to reach this past weekend’s million mark. The MLB’s Colorado Rockies hold that honour. The team hooked up their millionth, Robert Dorband, with a prize pack worth in excess of $4K. Not too shabby.
