Best flow in the National Lacrosse League? It’s Scott Carnegie vs. Brenden Thenhaus

Inflowmation, please.

You know how life can be. Every once in a while, you run into something you just can’t explain. The Jersey Shore. Lady Gaga. Paul Rabil’s flow not even getting out of the first round of our National Lacrosse League fan poll. Really? Really. The people have spoken and Josh Funk of the Minnesota Swarm pulled in more votes than the Washington Stealth transition man, 1,673 to 1,041. A surprise, no doubt, but that’s what’s up as we cruise into the next matchup: Scott Carnegie of the Roughnecks against Brenden Thenhaus of the Blazers.

Thenhaus won't lose his flow in the dark. Paul Revere is jealous.

Yeah, at first glance, we really don’t see anything too special here with Thenhaus. Maybe it’s just a straight line to you, and maybe the pink looks cool and all, but by the time we got this round of the contest posted, it didn’t even exist anymore. Still, it looks good. Almost too good, ’cause we can’t seem to look away. And this is not the first mohawk haircut we’ve seen. Cropped tight on the sides and top, it is a juxtaposition of sorts. The tight lettuce, striped right down the middle of the dome, gives off an aura of intimidation. Yet at the very same time, the pink color reminds us that it’s all for a good cause, breast cancer. Scare and sympathize all at the same time. The answer you already knew to the question: Yes, the flow does indeed have that much power.

Rumor: Carnegie's flow calls out the slides for the penalty killers.

Over in Calgary, they’re 3 hours behind the East Coast and Carnegie’s flow looks the part. Comb, anyone? Better not. The heat of the flow might be too much for the simplistic ionic structure of a petroleum-based earth thing. And that’d get messy, no doubt. Brahmigo’s flow behaves itself nicely when not covered by a Roughnecks lid but it’s even better when the lid is in place. Tucking itself neatly out of the back end, Carnegie’s flow looks so natural and so right that you almost wanna believe it was there before Carnegie was. You know, B.C. Is it even possible? Anything’s possible with the flow. Don’t ever doubt that.

So what’s up, voter people? It’s time to pick the flow of your choice.

Who's rockin' the best flow in the NLL?

  • Scott Carnegie (57%, 5,063 Votes)
  • Brenden Thenhaus (43%, 3,841 Votes)

Total Voters: 8,904
