John Tavares scored the winning goal in overtime of two road games last weekend for the Buffalo Bandits and that’s pretty cool, right? But is it even cooler than the fact that there were penalty shots awarded in three different National Lacrosse League games? Three! When’s the last time that happened? And the one in Rochester wasn’t just any shot, either. If Pat O’Toole makes that save against Orlando’s Jordan Hall in the fourth quarter, O’Toole becomes the NLL’s all-time leader in career saves. But Hall’s shot low shot hit O’Toole’s stick and spun it just enough to squeak through the 5 hole. Let’s check in with each NLL team.
