Steve Toll’s blogging, and it’s LEGIT

What’s Steve Toll of the Rochester Knighthawks thinking these days? Well, as he’s helping St. Regis in the Major Series Lacrosse playoffs, he’s got some thoughts on Knighthawks teammate Shawn Williams and his MSL trade to Brampton. He’s also got some thoughts on the shuttle between playing for St. Regis and trying to make it to see his daughter play lacrosse, and he’s also got some thoughts on what it’s like to help a neighbor move a tree. Yes, move a tree. It’s all discussed in his latest blog installment, posted at Knighthawks.net. Check it.

Knighthawks’ Steve Toll to get his blog on

We all know Steve Toll is the National Lacrosse League’s Ironman and we all know he rolled in at No. 47 on our Top 50 Players list last summer. But in case you didn’t know, dude can talk. And talk. On the floor, the Rochester Knighthawks’ transition man is known as one of the game’s best yappers and now fans can get an idea of just what’s on his mind this summer as he’s all set up for a bi-weekly blog over at Knighthawks.net. The musings are set for a June 4 launch and will continue through September. READ MORE »

Heffner’s Stealth Blog: Showing Their Colors

Welcome back Stealth fans to this week’s ‘Do-or-Die’ installment of ye old behind the scenes blog.

Actually, let me clarify…This week’s home-and-away series with Portland is really a ‘Don’t Do or Die’ scenario….what that means is – of the two games for the boys this weekend, they must win at least one to stay afloat in the Western Conference playoff race. If they win both, well, then they are sitting pretty…lose both…lose it all.

Which brings me to a sort of philosophical point I touched on last week. READ MORE »

Who wouldn't want to be an NLL goalie?

By Zach Heffner

Welcome back Stealth aficionados…

After a road game in Portland and the week off last weekend, I think we’re due for another recap. It was a a pretty busy two weeks, actually. Lets see…Steelers are the Super Bowl Champs, the MLL became a way more competitive league, Kevin Federline got fat, and I invented the hummus taco (patent pending). …but more on that later. Stealth Behind the Scenes: Checking Back In

Obligatory cheerleader pregame photoWith the Stealth on the road last week and no blog from me..I think it’s time for a refresher. Obama is our new Pres, pink is the new black and Tom Johnson cut his hair. (A quick thanks to all those who voted in the ‘What should Tom do with his Hair contest’… and for those who didn’t get a chance to vote, don’t worry too much, it was rigged) READ MORE »

Whether the San Jose crowd knew it or not, the Stealth game on Sunday night against the Rochester Knighthawks was a pretty big deal, but not for the obvious reasons. Yes, both teams are looking for their first wins of the season and things like standings are important and all….But still, something way more pertinent was going on within the confines of the HP Pavilion…and I didn’t even realize it until I was on my way to San Jose sunday afternoon. Well, I had an excuse…sort of. I was really busy…sort of.

What I’m trying to pass off as a ‘hectic’ week came down to finishing up a photo-shoot with my friend Kathryn. She’s a yoga instructor in LA and has some pretty crazy clients…like Snoop Dogg. I guess she threw some pics of our shoot up on her page. Sooo, check out www.kathrynbudig.com if you wanna see some other Verdict Photography work. READ MORE »
