Years from now, I hope all is forgiven and forgotten about those nine black days in October of 2007. I know we are all looking forward to the 2008 season that almost wasn’t, from the players up to the front office and most importantly the fans. I know the owners want to stop hemorraghing cash and the players want to finally start reaping some of the fruits of their labor and from all sounds, everyone got the best they could hope for in this current CBA.
Everyone except, the fans and fan clubs. Now, I’m sure there are some out there saying, “But, the season is back on, aren’t you happy?†Of course, we’re ecstatic, but here is a little look into what it takes from the fan clubs to put a season together for the most enjoyment possible for the fans before and after the whistle blows.
