That pits Krystle up against Heidi and we gotta warn Krystle and her fans. Heidi absolutely cleaned up in her last outing, garnering more than 7,500 votes. National Lacrosse League Girl of the Week: Matchup 9 is Emily vs. Kelly

Doris has had her day, it appears. She has Gina of the Boston Blazers to thank for that, because Gina rolled into the semifinal bracket of our National Lacrosse League Girl of the Week contest by a count of 1,421-350. So even if the Blazers are finished with their first season, Gina took it upon herself to keep Beantown in the headlines. Like the Bruins, Celtics and Red Sox aren’t doing that on their own! Still, it’s cool to see Gina and the Blazers still representin’ and who she faces in the first semifinal depends on who wins this week’s matchup: Emily of the Wings or Kelly of the Rush. National Lacrosse League Girl of the Week: It’s Kirsten vs. Marie

It’s been a bit of time since last we had an installment of our National Lacrosse League Girl of the Week contest, and for good reason. When ya get 14,068 total votes cast, it tends to get the attention of the tournament director. The way we figure, Heidi’s 7,506-6,562 win over Angela had a lot to do with the fact that they dance for the same Colorado Mammoth team but whatever, we sure were tickled pink to see the interest. Who says democracy is dead? We vote for the important issues and now it’s time to meet Kirsten and Marie for the final first-round matchup. READ MORE »
